Roy Moore embarrassed as Americans reject his pathetic pleas for cash

The GOP may be fine with giving money to accused sexual predators, but the American people are not.

Accused pedophile and failed Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore is desperately begging for donations to cover the legal fees stemming from a lawsuit brought by one of his accusers — but his pleas are falling on deaf ears.

In a statement posted to his Facebook page on Thursday, Moore blamed his legal problems on everyone but himself, saying that he’s the victim of “another vicious attack from lawyers in Washington D.C. and San Francisco.”

“The liberal media, in association with some who want to destroy our Country do not want my influence in the 2018 elections and are doing everything they can to stop me,” he wrote. “Gays, lesbians, and transgenders have joined forces with those who believe in abortion, sodomy, and destruction of all that we hold dear. Unless we stand together we will lose our Country.”

Moore lost his bid to to fill Jeff Sessions’ Alabama Senate seat to his Democratic opponent, Doug Jones, in a 2017 special election. During the campaign, Moore was faced with credible allegations from multiple women who said he molested them when they were teenagers.

One of Moore’s accusers, Leigh Corfman, filed a defamation lawsuit after he called her a liar. Corfman is not seeking financial compensation and has only asked for a public apology and a court-enforced ban on future attacks from Moore and/or his campaign.

Now, Moore says his “resources are depleted” and is begging for money to continue fighting to bring his “values and truths” to Washington.

“Please help me fight this battle for the heart and soul of this Nation,” he wrote. “Your financial contribution to my legal defense fund is crucial.”

He then offered up another list of enemies who he blames for his own alleged misdeeds, including “the Washington establishment, the Republican Party, the Democrat Party, the ultra-liberal media and people such as George Soros, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and many others who fear the truth.”

Moore has been soliciting donations since January, but not many people are opening their wallets to help the accused pedophile. Out of the $250,000 he is trying to collect, he has only raised about $32,000.

The Republican party may be happy to give money to accused child predators, but the American people are not.
