Donald Trump's terrible week just got much, much worse.

Donald Trump’s longtime personal attorney and “pit bull” Michael Cohen paid $130,000 to a porn star to keep her extramarital affair with Trump a secret just one month before the 2016 election.

That’s according to a shocking and detailed report in the Rupert Murdoch-owned Wall Street Journal.

The supposed payoff to Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, to keep her from publicly disclosing her encounter with Trump came just one month before the election — and just one month after the “Access Hollywood” tape was released.

Clifford privately claimed to have had a sexual encounter with Trump in July 2006 — a year after he married his third and current wife, Melania.

A White House official dismissed the allegations as “old, recycled reports,” but would not answer any questions about the supposed $130,000 payment on Trump’s behalf. Cohen also did not address the payment, though he said in a statement that Trump “once again vehemently denies any such occurrence.”

However, denials from the White House and Trump’s personal attorneys are not worth very much, given the stunning record of blatant lies from Trump and the various people who represent him.

Such denials are also questionable, given Trump’s years of boasting about his sexual conquests: telling radio host Howard Stern that avoiding STDs was his personal Vietnam, and telling “Access Hollywood” host Billy Bush that he grabs women by the pussy without their consent.

Trump was a notorious philanderer and abuser of women, and Cohen has his own sordid reputation. When reports emerged that Trump’s first wife, Ivana, had accused him of raping her during their marriage, Cohen defended Trump by insisting that legally, “You cannot rape your spouse. And there’s very clear case law.”

Trump has also been accused by multiple women of sexual assault and harassment and has defended himself by insisting that the women were simply not hot enough for him to have assaulted.

However this latest sordid Trump scandal unfolds, in the midst of an already very ugly week of Trump, it is all but certain to get worse.
