Donald Trump claims to be doing meaningful outreach to Black Americans, but what he is actually doing is dog whistling in front of white suburbanites and stoking fears rooted in stereotypes about Black urban criminality.
Four decades ago, "the Justice Department filed a civil rights case that accused the Trump firm, whose complexes contained 14,000 apartments, of violating the Fair Housing Act of 1968."
And that racialized hostility has continued, finding a home on Trump's Twitter feed.
Sadly, because president Obama has done such a poor job as president, you won't see another black president for generations!

How is ABC Television allowed to have a show entitled "Blackish"? Can you imagine the furor of a show, "Whiteish"! Racism at highest level?

Trump has never made himself trustworthy on racial justice issues, and now runs an openly white nationalist campaign. As many Black pundits have observed, when Trump asks people of color to vote for him with the rhetorical "What do you have to lose?" the answer is quite clearly "everything."
